1045 Access denied for navicat

hello guys..i got a serious problem here =o its about my navicat
when i try to open the connection i got it says Access denied for user root@localhost (USING PASSWORD:YES) 1045

im trying to make a new server with client 5095 so i need some help please

That means you're using the wrong username and password... change your navicat connection to whatever username/pass you setup with mysql.

By default in xamp I believe it's root with no password.
