please help i think i have Keylogger in my conquer game

hi all ..
i got weird message when i open my conquer online game see the pic and tell me what can i do or its normal
i use Kaspersky anti-virus(7.0.0.125)
when i scan for virus the game and the system i found nothing
but when i run the game i got this message

First of all- thats the HybridCo client right? So not really the Conquer Client- they could've done whatever they wanted with it...
I suggust that you delete your Conquer Folder (Usually located at C:/Program Files/Conquer 2.0/ ) and then reinstall the client.


You might have a third party keylogger in there, or it could just be the TQ Antivirus.

k ty im downloading the game from the site now and i will reinstall it agin

same message i remove the conquer game and reinstall it from fresh copy from the site and i still get the same message ........
anyone have new idea?
or
its safe to play that way ?

No one really knows. It could be a false positive, but it could be a keylogger. I recommend downloading good Anti-Virus software such as (Which is free) or you can search around for other ones. Whatever you do though, never have two antivirus' running at the same time.

I got a similar warning from my firewall (Comodo FW) when Conquer was at the log in screen. It was something like "Conquer.exe tries to access the keyboard directly". This is something also keyloggers do.
To be safe, I agree with ho30 to run another virus scan, or upload the .exe file to an online scan engine.
Have you tried if other programs where you have to put in a username and PW also give that error (other online games, but not websites).
Imho it is just the method of putting in username and PW that causes the warning.
If this helps you, I left everything as it is and haven't been hacked so far

I have scanned my original Conquer.exe, and nothing was found.

If you install a fresh copy of official conquer, i think you don't have to worry about it, only if your computer isn't infected

the problem solved my computer systems was infected i format my operating system and reinstall it again and all work fine

It's possible he had an existing spy/ad/malware or a virus which was trying to inject itself into the Clients exe though I guess... Same way we can inject DLLs into it to do pretty much whatever we want

@hok tbh avg antivirus sucks... i had a trojan (which i knew) i scanned it with the online virus scanners.. and all of the listed scanners found the trojan accept AVG i recommend

Reason - when u find a virus it allows u 2 options.. Delete perm or remove to the recycle bin. i choose remove to the recycle bin cuz then i know wat i done wrong and next time i will know how to avoid it in the future and it counts as a firewall type anti-virus, while ur downloading files from epvpers for e.g. it will scan it while its downloading and if there is a virus on the file it will automatically abort the connection

Last time i had a key logger it was in the windows folder so look around there fore a logg over your keys.
