Login Sound Removal Guide

This is a very basic guide that anyone can do; those of you with experience may find this completely useless but I only just figured it out and for those who are newbies to ini editing I decided to make this guide so you can rid yourself of those annoying login sounds.

Removal of Conquer Online Loging Menu Sounds.

Step 1: Navigate to your Conquer Online 2.0 Folder (Defualy C:\Program Files\Conquer 2.0\)

Step 2: Open the "ini" folder within the Conquer folder and locate the "flashLogin" configuration file.

Step 3: Open the file with Notepad, and search for the values

[bgMusic]
path=music.mp3
loopTime=0
volume=40

[sound]
volume=100

Step 4: Change the values of 100, to 0. This will set the sound to 0% of the currant volume (Silent) if you only wish to lower the volume of the menu sounds feel free to play with diferent values.

Note: This is the sounds made when you type and select new server;

[sound]
volume=0

and this is the background music

[bgMusic]
path=music.mp3
loopTime=0
volume=0

Here to help, It annoyed me and since I don't use my Vista machine all the time i coulden't just mute conquer.

Yeah, i know but i was looking for a guide on how to do it before i asked you, couldn't find one so i thought i migh aswell post it. =P

Yes, just find and replace the music.mp3 file with your choice of music.
