So i was fighting someone and they began to run...they jumped through a portal and it wouldnt let me through :hm: so i was like man this sux i hate when this happens..-.- ... so neways i found out that 100% of the time if you sit directly in the middle of the portal and use fly (for archers) stamina fly not exp fly i dont think...go ahead and try it ...it works every time lol....neways i jst wrote this really quick for those people like me that get frustrated at the portals..

The reason you can't go through is because you are in "attack" stance. Once your stance changes, you get teleported through the portal.

your right i must have tested it the first time and got through on luck becuz the 2nd and 3rd time it didnt work...:/

like nTL3fTy <--- said, its bcuz ur in attack stance/mode. when u attack a monster or a person, your stance is in an attacking position. when u wait a bit, it goes back to normal and your char sets his weapons to his sides. So if u recently attacked something, you cant go through the portal. just chill if your not an ARCHER. =)

alot of things get you out of attack stance like summoning things or meditation any spell that has a positive effect on a char seems to work (mostly for taos)

if u r a water tao u can just make yourself invisible and u r guarenteed to go through the portal

o_O why go through all this when its a givin fact that you can go through portals in a battle stance <_< or nvm i didnt say anything you prolly made it so you could leave early but all you gotta do is freak out on your control key and jump around waiting until your not in a battle stance anymore

2)(HARD PART) run into the instance as you are dead but right before you hit the loading screen and get transported back to the GY you res.
3) you will then be behind the instance loading zone and be able to walk around freely behind there....
