Yes I have this also but the problem is, as long as you do not change the code like I posted, the view zoom will always reset back to standard view if you change the mousewheel or change map.
It's a floating point variable within in the base pointer region.
You have to zoom out to the end and scan for the maximum value.
Dungeons and maps have different maximum zoom settings.
Scan the pointer with Cheat Engine and edit/raise the maximum setting.
This is what brought me to the code manipulation hack above.
You can freeze it with Cheat Engine but if you want to change zoom with the mouse the whole picture is flickering (zooming in and out).
Not very beautiful, but as long as you dont touch anything it's working.
