Well i have direct contact with the owner of the Chinese server and he says its just for laughs and he will close it when they make another soon with even more updated files and account wont be transferred
He does not really care about the server hence why he sells gold directly and unless you can Pay 2 Play, its a sucky server

I've played on that server. It's very laggy and every few minutes my client will crash kicking me out of the game. I left after having some patience with this problem, came back a few weeks later and the problem is still there. I like the idea of selling many of the items in the market, but there is a difference between gold buyers and those who work to earn the gold. This gold problem isn't affecting me as I can't even play on that server. I wouldn't want to waste my time on a server that the owners & admins don't genuinely care about the game. I would like to see a private server of AO that doesn't have major problems with lag or economy, and the admins enjoy and care about the game.
just plain stupid... Owner cares only about chinese players and is planning awful surprises from players like you who try too bring a few more sheeps to this no-future server.
A game where the economy is player-drived will never last when there is not any kind of balance in incomes. Look at what happens on retail. TBS / botting ruined economy and new players can't afford anything. IM must stay as a shortcut through the everlasting grinding and not become a way to buy everything and nothing.
This can already be called a big time failure, as IT WILL (with absolutely no doubt) not last long.
