What race/class to take?

I'm new to the forums and want some feedback on which race/class to choose.

Out of the picture are:

Orc Sorcerer (too easy to make good)
Elf Swashbuckler (why did they even release this)
Human Archer (cba with arrows)
Orc Hunter (too slow)
Elf Elementalist (no comment)
Orc Berserker (Dagus is already the best in my server np not need another 1)

So what's left is:

Human Knight
Human Mage
Elf Ranger

At this moment I got great gear for Ranger, but as long as no one can confirm that Ranger will be a kickass toon once skills are updated, I won't like to play it. (positive thing is, more then 80% res unbuffed so it's easy to bot with a ranger)

And yeah, why should I take Knight or Mage?

depends on what you like man...You already excluded all good toons i see.

Knights = pain to level and perma godlike is the only good thing you'll come up with
Mage = lol
Ranger = they are really good with the updates, also their pt buffs are the best aroung

so let's load a lv1 ranger with attack speed +12% bracers LV6 crit LV6 att speed, skirt +12% resistance LV6 skill block LV6 resistance, garb +12% skill block LV6 resistance LV6 hp LV6 conversion ? got 2x barom 7% res tho and 10 Billions of gold so np :>

No offense, really, and I understand that you just want your "work" to pay off, but wtf? There'll always be bugs and updates coming and going which make a specific class a bit stronger or weaker. Just play the class you'd like and don't give a sh*t about anything else.
