i think that its connected with duping weapon which you are refing and puting attack stones, for example you put 6 attack, you have 6/8 stones, then dupe this weapon few times, to one of them you are still puting attacks, if weapon dissapear you have others duped as buckup, if not you have 7/8, and over over the same, duping ---> upgrading ---> duping ---> upgrading
at the end you delete all other copies left
